GASTRONAMOUR is the union of the words “gastronomy” and “amour”. Gastronamour can be used to describe a culinary enthusiast or the love of food.
Nick Souksavat is a self-taught chef based in the Chicagoland area who is passionate about exploring culture through cuisine and sharing that with those who share a similar interest. Nick draws flavors and techniques from his specialty in Lao and Southeast Asian cuisine and innovates dishes with a global mindset.
Nick has an eye for design that is evident in the beautiful, yet approachable dishes he’s created for many to enjoy. In 2020, Nick had the distinct opportunity to compete on Bravo TV’s Top Chef Amateurs to showcase his craft.
With flavor as the focus, Nick develops recipes that will tantalize all of the senses creating lasting memories for his diners. Nick works with each client to curate a personalized menu delivering a stellar and more importantly, delicious dining experience.
